Attorney Robert A. Cannella, the founder of the firm, is an experienced immigration lawyer and litigator, who is passionately committed to provide each of his immigration clients with excellent immigration legal services and representation through individualized service and attention and competent and effective legal representation. Mr. Cannella is admitted to practice and represents clients before the following immigration, federal, state courts and federal agencies:

In addition to his experience as an immigration attorney and litigator, Mr. Cannella has had extensive experience in the field of criminal law defense and is therefore, qualified to represent those clients that have or have had criminal charges against them that may affect their immigration status. As explained in a subsequent section of this site, there are many criminal offenses which can seriously impact an individual’s immigration status. In any case, where an alien has had in the past, or has a criminal offense presently pending against him, Mr. Cannella’s extensive experience in these two areas of immigration and criminal defense law, is an invaluable advantage for his clients.

Mr. Cannella earned his Juris Doctorate degree from the Cumberland School of Law, Birmingham, Alabama, in 1973, and received his undergraduate degree in Business from the University of Tampa in Tampa, Florida, in 1969. Mr. Cannella is a native of the Tampa area, and is bilingual, fluent in Spanish as his second language. Mr. Cannella is a second generation descendent of immigrants and therefore, has a unique perspective and insight into the immigration system, which is based on a true personal understanding and a deep sense of appreciation for the hardships and challenges faced by immigrants in the complex and intimidating U.S. immigration system.
